Terms, Conditions & Payments

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Dog Training Revolution (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking or participating in any training or behaviour service, the client (“you”, “the owner/handler”) agrees to the following terms.

1. Scope of Services

Dog Training Revolution provides professional dog training and behaviour consultancy services. Advice and guidance are based on professional knowledge, experience, and the information provided by the client regarding the dog’s behaviour and history.

While we aim to achieve the best possible outcomes, no guarantees can be made regarding behavioural outcomes, as progress depends on numerous factors including owner compliance, consistency, the dog’s history, environment, genetics, and health.

2. Owner Responsibility

The owner or handler remains fully responsible for the dog at all times during training sessions, consultations, and when implementing training advice.

The owner agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about the dog’s behaviour, history, bite incidents, aggression, medical conditions, and environment.

  • Follow safety and management advice provided by Dog Training Revolution.

  • Ensure the dog is legally compliant with UK law, including any requirements under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, Control of Dogs Order 1992, and other relevant legislation.

  • Maintain control of the dog at all times and use appropriate equipment when advised.

Failure to disclose behavioural history, including aggression or bite incidents, may result in termination of services.

3. Safety and Risk Acknowledgement

By engaging in training or behaviour services, the owner acknowledges that:

  • Dogs, particularly those presenting behavioural concerns such as aggression, reactivity, fear, or resource guarding, may pose a risk of injury to people, animals, or property.

  • Behaviour modification work may involve controlled exposure to triggers or training scenarios which carry inherent risks.

The owner agrees that Dog Training Revolution cannot be held liable for injury, loss, or damage caused by the dog, except where required by law.

4. Behaviour Assessments

Behaviour assessments are designed to evaluate the dog’s behaviour and develop an appropriate training or behaviour modification plan.

Where an assessment is split into two sessions, the following terms apply:

  • The second session must be booked and completed within three (3) months of the first assessment session.

  • During this period, the client must provide weekly check-ins and training updates, including videos where requested, to demonstrate progress and allow monitoring of the case.

If the second session is not booked and completed within the three-month period, the following will apply:

  • The remaining session will be forfeited.

  • Any payment for the unused session will be non-refundable.

  • A new full behaviour assessment will be required before further training or behaviour work can continue.

This policy exists to ensure the behaviour assessment remains accurate and relevant to the dog’s current behaviour.

5. Ongoing Behaviour Cases and Progress Monitoring

Behaviour modification requires consistent monitoring and communication.

Once training has commenced following an assessment:

  • The client is expected to provide regular progress updates and training videos where requested.

  • If Dog Training Revolution has not received adequate training updates, progress reports, or communication for a period of three (3) months, the case will be considered inactive.

If a case becomes inactive:

  • We may require a new behaviour assessment before further sessions can be booked.

  • This ensures that the advice and training plan remain appropriate for the dog’s current behavioural state.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Appointments require adequate notice to allow rescheduling.

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

  • Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice will result in the session being forfeited.

7. Refusal or Termination of Services

Dog Training Revolution reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if:

  • The owner fails to follow safety instructions.

  • The owner behaves in an abusive, threatening, or unsafe manner.

  • Critical behavioural history has been withheld.

  • The dog presents a level of risk that cannot be safely managed within our services.

In such cases, refunds will be provided only at our discretion.

8. Veterinary and Welfare Considerations

Behavioural problems may have underlying medical causes.

Dog Training Revolution may recommend that the dog seek veterinary assessment before or during training. Clients agree to follow appropriate veterinary guidance where necessary.

9. Media and Training Footage

Clients may be asked to provide training videos to monitor behavioural progress. These videos are used solely for the purpose of assessing training progress unless explicit permission is given for other uses.

Dog Training Revolution will not share client media publicly without consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dog Training Revolution shall not be liable for:

  • Injury caused by the dog to people, animals, or property

  • Loss or damage arising from the implementation of training advice

  • Incidents occurring outside of direct supervision

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so under UK law.

11. Agreement to Terms

By booking a session or engaging services with Dog Training Revolution, the client confirms that they:

  • Have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.

  • Accept full responsibility for their dog.

  • Agree to comply with the policies stated above.
